For 60 years, RONNINGS has been northern Minnesota's trusted retailer for quality apparel, footwear, souvenirs, gifts, and more from the brands you know, love, and trust. The first RONNINGS location opened in International Falls, Minnesota in 1964 — providing much needed clothing, footwear, and goods to the hearty folks who call the "Icebox of the Nation" home. In the early 2000s, RONNINGS expanded to Baudette, Minnesota, followed by a location in Roseau, Minnesota, in Fall of 2017. Thief River Falls, Minnesota, is the newest RONNINGS location and opened in November 2019.

In 2024, we saw two new opportunities that would help us deliver the best customer experience possible — expanding our original location and adding e-commerce to the mix!

The new RONNINGS expansion is located at our original store location in downtown International Falls. This spacious, new shopping area will include around 25,000 square feet of new departments, more selection, and will feature a cozy "Proudly Serving" Caribou Coffee corner with seating, delicious hand-scooped ice cream, and fresh-popped gourmet popcorn in a variety of unique and fun flavors.

Since 1964, RONNINGS has been serving the Minnesota Borderland with quality apparel, footwear, souvenirs, gifts, and more from the brands you know, love, and trust. The first RONNINGS location opened in International Falls, Minnesota, in 1964. In the early 2000s, RONNINGS expanded to Baudette, Minnesota, followed by a location in Roseau, Minnesota, in Fall of 2017. Thief River Falls, Minnesota, is the newest RONNINGS location and opened in November 2019.

Most recently, we began a renovation & expansion project at our International Falls location. Once complete, the RONNINGS in International Falls will be nearly 25,000 square feet of retail space and will feature a RONNINGS Coffee Shop, serving Caribou Coffee, hand-scooped ice cream, and fresh-popped gourmet popcorn in a variety of unique and fun flavors.
